Ghosts in the Machine

This series explores the relationship between time and experience, of people becoming memory through political acts of solidarity and amity that give material presence to the issues that shape their lives when they are not protected or supported by the legal and socio-political obligations and covenants set out explicitly to safeguard the well- being of all members within the social body.

Feminist protests are particular: logic and the progress of human civilisation dictate the issues over which women take to streets to protest - the value of work and fair pay, bodily autonomy and personal safety - ought to be resolved. In an image where cars and technology are absent, the protests continue to highlight the same struggles.
